Snowflake Making

It's snowing! Well, not really. On the calendar for today is make snowflakes. And since I already made paper snowflakes, today I made snowflake clings. These are so much fun, and easy to make!

First, draw or trace a snowflake onto a sheet of waxed paper with white fabric paint. You can also sprinkle a bit of glitter over them while they're still wet to make them sparkle! Then let them dry. This will take a few hours, or overnight.

Gently, gently peel the snowflakes off of the paper. Press them onto your window, and you're done!

You can also trim it if you need to, to fix a corner, separate an arm or two, or just to even things out.

We've also added a new freebie! You can click over to the freebie page, or go straight to the snowflake page. The snowflake page shows you how to make both kinds of snowflakes, paper and clings.

Happy snowflake making!
