Shamrock Sparkler

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
This year we made shamrock sparklers.

We mixed together limeade and lemon-lime soda, (you could also use sparkling water)

and I added green sprinkles around the edge to give it more color.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Homemade Chocolate Shell

Homemade chocolate shell is so easy to make and fun to use! After you pour it on your ice cream, it hardens, making a shell.

Homemade Chocolate Shell

7 oz chocolate chips
2 tbs coconut oil (this is liquid when warm,
and solid when cool, which allows the chocolate to harden on the ice cream.)
Other toppings, like coconut flakes

Melt both ingredients, stirring until the chocolate is completely melted.
Pour over a bowl of ice cream and enjoy!

Remade Crayons

Today we made some new crayons from old, broken ones. Use something old, make something new!
Here are some of my favorites:

We made lots of small ones, and three bigger crayons.

We had lots of different colors to choose from. And we have more left over, so we'll be making more!

Sorting Color

Broken crayon bits aren't good for much, unless it's for crafting. So yesterday we took all of our broken crayons and sorted them by color. Now we will be able to use them for future crafts.

We had cups of color,

a rainbow of wrappers,

and lots of ideas!
I will hopefully post about some crayon crafts soon!
